Will you marry me? The Proposal:)
So on Sunday at my church we had one of those surprise
proposals in church....yes you read right! A lovely and brave man in our church got on the
pulpit (in disguise dressed as an old man) to propose to his now fiancé. It was brilliant and
a very special moment, that you had to be there to see it. I hear you ask if
she said yes, well – hello of course she did! You have to know that your woman
will say yes before you go up in front of the church to propose!lol.
It got me thinking about my own proposal, as in how would I
like it done, who will be present at my proposal (will it just be me and the
guy? or my family and loved ones), will he propose on a train, in a plane, on
the street! All I know is that i want it to be a memorable intimate moment.
So typical me I got excited about the whole thing and
started searching online for imaginative marriage proposals.... here are some
of my favourite so far. What do you think?
This marriage proposal wins an award for creativity! click here to watch (Cinema proposal)
This wins the award for originality on the boarder of cheese, but the couple are so cute, you can just feel the genuine love between them. Watch (Horse and carriage proposal)
Last but not least, this proposal wins for effort and thoughtfulness (I like that it does not seem like he tried too hard!) Watch video below.
Finally, proposals are exciting but let us not
miss the main fact that it is important to be led by the Holy Spirit as to whom
to marry. He indeed is the Alpha and OmegaJ
My question to you is have you asked God about the person you should
marry?

Luke 2:51
She said WHAT?????
O gosh! Now this is a funny one, well funny in the sense that I can't believe she said that!
Ok so here it is goes. A lady who is close to me sent me a text saying:
Lady: (name of person) told me.
Faylicious: Told you what?
Lady: What she told you about (guys name).
Faylicious: O :(
I hear you say what was she referring to? Well what happened was that the Lady's daughter had confidened in me and told me she had had premartial sex. I did not tell the Lady about the conversation I had with her daughter (who is legally above the age of consent in the UK) who came to me for counsel.
However her daughter and the boyfriend plucked up the courage to tell the Lady. The Lady told me that when they told her what had happened she listened calmly till they were finished, walked to her bookshelf and gave them a Christian book called "Let's talk about sex".lol. O and told him she will castrate him! lololololololololol....before you call the police she was joking, well I hope so.
Just as a side bar, I stand by abstinence till marriage - I will discuss that in a later blog.
Finally, there will be times in life when we will have to reveal a deep part of ourselves to a loved one. My advice is to be honest, take responsibility and be transparent. My question to you is what have you revealed to your heavenly Father lately, you know He knows but He wants you to talk to Him...let it out:)
